	As most torque tooling use a reaction arm, when the socket is too long, or too short, the tool does not sit square on the nut. Thus the socket will be attempting to torque the nut on an angle, without proper nut / socket engagement. Equally the reaction arm will not "sit square" increasing the risk of the arm wanting to ride up, or slip off the reaction point. Most manufacturers producing 1" Square Drive torque tools use a reaction arm depth of 85mm. Some models of Hydraulic torque tools and most nut runner tools use reaction arms fixed in the downward position, typically 85mm.
	GOLD Ultra Torque Sockets are all the same length in keeping with the reaction arm depth. Assists in helping keep the tool square.
